When we remodeled this home the first time in early 2008, the homeowners chose to leave the decks largely untouched. They'd purchased the home in January, and we had only 6 months to renovate the entire home's interior and get it ready for the summer; framing and finishing new decks was not in the timeframe nor the budget during this phase. To be honest, they needed some serious love, and now we're finally getting to do that. Ted Cushman has been documenting the build and a few different things we're using along the way.
